Re: DD is on a strict elimination diet - and I need some of your help to come up with some new ideas for meals
Also, does she like sweets/ice cream?
For a treat, take a couple ripe bananas, throw them into the freezer with the skin on. (To remove the skin later dunk them into hot water for about 30 seconds) Take them out after they've frozen for a good 24 hours and throw them in the food processor. Best faux ice cream. When she is cleared for things like strawberries, chocolate etc you can throw that stuff in too.

you said she didn't like the baked potato without butter... have you tried getting the kosher margarine? (Mother's brand) its pareve... no dairy. not the best flavor ever, but its workable. or what about ketchup on the potato? you said she could have garlic? what about garlic and some salt and petter on potato wedges.. baked with a little oil to crisp them up? something for a side dish, carmelized onions, corn, salt and pepper. (since you can't do the butter, kosher margarine to carlemelize the onions, or just some oil) mashed potatos with the cheese in the mash? so its blended into the potato instead of being on top. can she have chick peas? what about falafel?
Great I will check the butter out - but does it have preservatives?
No ketchup - can't have tomatoes.
I will try the chips with garlic I have sliced them up numerous times and put salt and pepper on them - but she doesn't like them. She had me make them about 3 times but hasn't eaten them since. I tried melting soy cheese on a baked potato and she said no to that too. No beans yet either - sorry the list of No's is so long it is just easier to say what she CAN have....LOL.
You can try Earth Balance too-the organic should work. Hev you eliminated other things in your house? Like frangranced items, laundry detergent etc...it was curious when you said she broke out after using a kirkland wipe

I think that is what I'm going to try to do.

Boil some chicken - cut into small pieces.
Put in a casserole dish - add some frozen broccoli. Top with cheese sauce (can you melt some soy cheese with a splace of milk/water). Top w/ "cherio breadcrumbs" and bake until bubbly.

What about cream of broc soup?
Or maybe some broc and cheese on a potatoe? (wendy's style)
Baked apples?
Shishkabob w/ the steak and onions?

Ohhh those are all good ideas. I'm not sure about melting the cheese it is like american cheese slices- (only soy cheese I could find that was vegan)
How would you bake the apples? just plain?
