Runners and sports drink
What do you drink if anything on your runs? I use Cytomax and have used it for years. I am just curious what others do....

i can't drink anything if i am running or working out. i feel so bloated and weighed down. but afterwards i drink water.

I read that powerade has better electrolytes than gatorade (and it's usally cheaper too), so I take powerade with me.
but most races use gatorade and if you have a sensitive stomach, you can see what is used for your next race and try to get accustomed to that.

I take GU on my long runs and water. I dont do gatorade, I do that afterwards to refuel but overall I hate how much sugar is in it!

Studies show that chocolate milk is as good or better than sports drinks post run. It makes that postrun feeling even better for me
I wish I could do GUs. I really think I could get my marathon time down if I could suck it up - or down - literally.
I've done beans, gummies, raisins, oranges, almost everything, but just can't get the amount of carbs in as quickly as a GU/gel.
