do you ever take one out alone?

I feel like I may want a single stroller to take one out alone sometimes?

Do you guys do this?

I do have a single stroller and take ONE out by myself to spend some Mommy time....I take a different kid each time I do this so they all get turns...many times I just end up going out with just my DDs bc most of my friends have girls...I think its good to take each kid out alone it makes them feel special.

I have one cheapie single that I ended up getting when DD was under the weather and stayed home with Daddy and I went out shopping with DS. It has come in handy a few times so far!

A few times I have taken one of the girls out with my older son when the other was sick. I plan to do it a lot more when they are older...at 18 months they dont really get it yet, but when they are 3+ I will take them out for more one on one time like I do with my son.

i haven't yet, but i just bought a umbrella stroller so i can start doing that.
it will feel really weird!!

the only time i have was when one was sick. but DH and I were just talking about how we want to start doing it more often so they have some alone time.

I was also thinking if i had to go to the store or something and one was sleeping, I could leave that one with DH and take the other with me. This way it is easier on both of us

We have the double snap n go, and a friend gave us her single snap n go. We also have a double front to back regualr stroller for DH and we are about to purchase a double side by side for me. We are also thinking of purchasing 2 single strollers for when they are a little older, so if we are both out with them together, we can use that incase we want to go different ways.

That's a good idea ... I'd definitely like to be able to have separate time with them too.

I considered getting a single umbrella stroller, but I rarely take them out alone. I am a SAHM, so there isn't anyone else around, most of the time.
Once in a while, one will have a doctor appointment or something and my DH or ILs will watch the other. When that happens, I either just carry that one into the doctor, or I use the double umbrella with just the one in it.

We had to take Hunter out alone a few times, including taking him for his surgery. It made me so sad to see Georgie at the door as we were leaving, I haven't taken either of them out alone since.

Probably when they're older, I will.

Yes but they were older so I didn;t need a stroller-put them right in the grocery cart or whatever

I have. Sometimes my hubby and I split up, etc. But since I have a 4 year old daughter, I already had the single strollers.
