Re: D&C question
I haven't had a d&c yet, but I am having one tomorrow, i went today for my pre-op testing and interview. Mine will be at the hospital and I will be put out. i was told it is about a 1/2 hour procedure and then will be in recovery for 1 hour.

Re: D&C question
I had it done at by OBGYN's office. I was put under anesthesia and the procedure lasted abut half an hour. I felt good afterwards and stayed in recovery for about 10 minutes and then they let me go home.

Re: D&C question
i had to go to the hospital. i was very freaked out and emotional to say the least.
i think i wsa only out for 15 min tops. i got the shakes after but they gave me something for that. i was in recovery for about a half an hour or so. i didnt get nauseaus or anything...but i did feel reallly tired and atiny bit crampy.
some drs do it in office, some do hospital. i think they did it in the hospital for me bc we wanted chromosomal testing done.
i am sorry and i hope it goes as well as it can xoxoxo

Re: D&C question
Mine was in the hospital and I was put out. For whatever reason, it took me a long time to come out of it so they kept me overnight. Then they couldn't "find" what they were looking for in the tissue they recovered so they wanted to keep me to monitor me and make sure it wasn't ectopic.
