What do I say - advice needed !
I just became a SAHM recently but am looking actively for an evening / weekend job. I have been trying to get a position at a hospital so I am applying to a ton of jobs. I finally got an interview for a positionat a local hospital - It's a great oppty and a great way to get my foot in the door but the hours do not work for me at all !
When being interviewed, I told them the hours were fine but now that they called me with an offer - I don't know what to say. How do I let them know that I cannot take this job but would love to be considered for something else ? Hope this makes sense !!!
TIA !!!!

I would be honest. Tell them at the time of the interview the hours worked for you, however due to a recent change in childcare issues you can no longer work those hours. Then thank them and let them you how much you would still love to work at the hospital and mention you would appreciate it if they could hang onto your resume.
They obviously liked you if they offered you the job in the first place so it shouldn't be an issue to hang onto your info.

Agreed. And absolutely continue to follow up with them regularly to see if anything opens up.

ITA.
A change in circumstance but you'd love to be considered for night hours...
