Sure...just go at your own pace and you will get up to their pace before you know it.

Re: P90x can you modify it
I am sure you can modify it. I think the company recommends doing the P90 workout series first if you are out of shape. Have you considered doing a less intense program for a couple of weeks? If you are set on starting the P90X program this weekend then just work at you own pace and listen to your body- Increase the intensity as you can tolerate it. Good Luck!

Re: P90x can you modify it
I like that this series was big about working at your own pace. I would suggest starting with Cardio X before attempting the Plyometrics workout. It is still a great workout, but easier than Plyo, which is difficult even if you are in good shape.

Yes, Tony Horton offers modifications throughout the program! Good luck! I did it and I felt the best I've ever felt in my life.

Re: P90x can you modify it
There are modifications you can do, but it's basically goals you set for yourself. If they do 20 on the DVD, you don't have to do 20. You can I want to do 5. The 5 may be a big struggle for you which is okay because the next time you do it you can say I'm doing 6.

Re: P90x can you modify it
also you can follow the "p90x lean" routine, it has more of the cardio dvd's versus the weight lifting dvds. I started with lean then switched to the classic, as long as i didn't lift weights that were extremely too heavy for me, i was fine..

Re: P90x can you modify it
I modify it all the time - I use it as a supplement to my work out regime already, so I pick and choose how and what I am going to do.... There are no rules - just do what you can do!
