Anyone recognize Smithhaven Mall????
On MSN.com there's a topic called "Mulllets at the Mall: Scenes from 1989"...the photographer photgraphed people shopping at NY malls and NC malls. The majority of pics are from Smithhaven LOL....
It's like a blast from the past seeing McCrory's and Tape World

OMG my grandmother use to make my brother and I sit in a stroller that we faced each other in and we use to beat the bejesus out of each other!!!! Maybe thats why they changed them !!!! Talk about memories. Party in the front work in the back should have been the hair theme!!!!

I was in 8 in 89 so I don't remember it much...this looks like a scene from a movie...so cool! I do remember Tape World though lol.

This is great!! Does anyone remember smithaven when it had all the different fountains and the middle had the stairs you went down and it was a circular setting? And before calder court that had this crazy poster cut outs that had lips and I remember these legs with fishnets and high heels. Also an eye. They redid that area adding calder court. Calder court is named after an artist who specialized in mobiles.
