easier ($$) way to do this!?!?!

Looking to get all the holiday onesies as a shower gift...

I was shopping on Cafepress and it is adding up quickly...

If I have 7 holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's, St Pattys Day, Easter, 4th of July)

at $15 .. I dont know if I really want to spend over $100 on onesies....

any other cheaper suggestion!?!?!?! without looking cheap!?!?!

Anyone done this themselves?...do the Iron ons really work....

Is there a store I can go to put the design on if I get the onesies myself at Carter's!?!?

Thanks for your help

Could you do bibs instead? It is so hard to predict sizes for the far away holidays, KWIM? Chat Icon

Was JUST going to write this!! Bibs are a great idea, and they will be used!!

But if you def are doing onesies, try ebay and even stores themselves...just saw st pattys day, halloween and christmas onesies on clearance in old navy..some are like $2! Kohls had some too..

When is baby due? My Mom started gathering stuff as soon as she heard I was preggo! She ended up getting everything @ BRU on clearance right after the holidays that came up after I told her.

She did not do only onsies though....some were feetie jammies & such.

For instance, I know I saw a few Christmas, Valentines & St. Pat's day stuff on crazy clearance @ BRU & Walmart & Target!! Easter stuff will be on clearance by next week.

Things were anywhere from $3-$7 so that's a much better deal!

I got A LOT of bibs for my kiddies too - and honestly I felt like after the initial photo op...that was it...

once they start solids, cloth bibs are pointless IMO - plastic ones are so much easier to use and clean...

I feel like onesies get more use

I did mostly bibs cause I knew it would be hard to figured out what size to get. I went right before the holiday or right after

Yes, the plastic ones are so much easier to clean for eating, but my DS wears a bib all day every day because of drooling from teething. He uses those bibs constantly that he's gotten for V-day, Christmas, etc. If he didn't have a bib on I'd be changing his outfit 15 times because his shirt would always be wet.

I'd rather get bibs than onesies to be honest just for sizing alone. You can't predict how big a baby will be by the time that holiday rolls around.

Re: easier ($$) way to do this!?!?!

you could make then yourself using an iron on kit. This way you could use ANY picture you want too.
I have made onesies fora few of my friends baby showers & they are always a hit.
They sell iron on kits at Michaels & I think I've seen them at Target too.
