I'm not sure if I can join you ladies...
I am scheduled for a D & E tomorrow, I have had the prep done yesterday and today.
My  was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia and it was determined that it was a very severe case and he wouldn't be able to live a normal and healthy life, if he lived at all. We have made the decision to end my pregnancy for this reason at 21w 5d.
I'm unsure if I can join you all here, because I know you ladies have had the unfortunate loss of a child, that was beyond your control, but I will be feeling the same sense of loss as anyone else who has lost a baby late in their pregnancy.

I am so sorry. I too had to end my pregnancy at around 20/21 weeks. Our son's skull did not form correctly nor did his brain. I gave birth to him, and I know your pain all too well. You are making the hardest decision of your life.

I am so sorry for your loss. It had to have been a very hard decision -- but one that I would've made as well. Especially with the outcome you had posted.
We are here for you and I will be thinking of you and for you and your DH.

I remember feeling the same way after my loss.. I remember feeling.. could I really post here? 
You are absolutely (though unfortunately ) welcome here!!
We may all have our own unique story that brought us here.. some further along than others.. but one thing we can all identify with is the loss of the hopes and dreams of a baby we loved.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you. I have had two losses in eight months (15 weeks and eight weekes). Maya Angelou has a quote, "I may be changed by my circumstances, but I refuse to be reduced by them." I have found strength in this and I hope you do as well. Fm me if you ever need to talk. Oh my - I am so terribly sorry to hear this. I am sure there are no words that are going to make you feel better right now. But just know I/we are thinking of you and deeply saddened by your loss. A loss is a loss, whether it was under your control or not - so definitely post here or FM with some of the girls. I find that reading this board and talking to others has really helped with my loss (early loss).

I am so sorryo you are going through this. We had to do the same thing at 23 weeks because my cervix was too thin even after a circlage.

ETA: its been about a month and ik just starting to feeo a sense if what it "normal" again...im finding reading these boards better then the groups the hospital suggested
