So....

I am having a rough day. The 2 year anniversary of my brother's death is in two months and his 27th birthday would have been on Easter Sunday...all I have been able to think about since Wednesday (ash Wednesday) is how he would have loved to celebrate his birthday on Easter...Some times are just harder then others and often the things that make me sad are out of the blue...

Ehhhh-I'm going through a really rough time right now. I know things get better-just wish it would hurry up. And it's not just me, a lot of people close to me are going through rough times too.   for everyone!!

i think its been hard recently. its hard to watch my 10 month old son interact with his grandpa ... and know that he will never get to meet his papa 
i just feel like they were both cheated, we have all been cheated 
i dont know, its been almost 8 years and its still not any easier, just different i guess.
i just wish i got to spend more time with my dad. i went away to college the year before he passed and I hardly saw him that entire year. i dont even remember my last conversation with him. its getting harder to "see" his face in head or even hear his voice. i dont want to ever loose that

I know exactly how you feel. My mom passed away 3 weeks before my DD was born so she never go to meet her. Some days it is really hard.

i'm not doing so well today. my brother was in my dream again last night. there were 4 of him all sitting on the couch next to each other. the odd thing is, they were all him but dressed differently. Any way, I knew I was dreaming and I knew they would leave. I saw my dad coming up the stairs and right away I said to all of them pls don't go, please don't leave. Then the version of my brother in a red sweater looked at me and smiled...then walked through the wall. I just wanted a hug. I just wanted my dad to see him. my dad misses him so much.
Why? it hurts to have to say good bye over and over again.
i just wish I could talk to him, know that he is ok. know if its really him visiting me in dreams or if its just my brain making up the images.
i miss him so much. i just want my big brother back.

good days and bad days....more good days than bad lately. i cant thank my therapist for that.
i miss him everyday but i know that i need to live for our daugther.

I also have dreams where he asks why I am getting rid of his stuff...I feel so bad touching his things, moving his stuff. I feel like he is going to come through the door any day now and wonder why all his things are missing.

Yes, I've had the same dreams... Awful!
We had the closing yesterday, and I am doing ok. Its been almost 2 years since we lost mom so I guess i got used to the idea that it hasn't been her house for a while. My brother has been living there and I have been the one of my siblings in charge of the bills and all of the upkeep, so it was a burden for me. Anyway the house is gone and although mom originally wanted one of us to keep it, she did know it was unrealistic (we had convos about the house many times) and what she asked was my brother be able to stay there for a year... Its been almost 2 years so i am at peace with it.

I lost my Grandmother in Sept, very suddenly, then my Grandfather passed in January. It was very hard to lose my last living grandparents so close to each other.
My aunt lives in Tennessee, so my mom has been doing all the cleaning out of the house. The contracts are being signed today for the sale of the house and we are having an estate sale in a few weeks. We all got to take some things that we wanted, I took come cookbooks and a pot that reminded me of my grandmother. It still strange to go through their things and mark them for sale.
I know the actual day of the sale will be the hardest....it will be the final link to my grandparents. There isnt a day that goes by that i dont think of them and miss them terribly!
