My Birth Story...Brynn Sofia
Let me start by saying that my 3 year old was born at 37 weeks so I was expecting a early birth again this time. Well my LO had a different idea as I ended up being induced at 40 weeks. I was dilated to 3 CM when we checked in on April 26th. They started Pitocin at 8:30 and broke my water at 8:45. I was getting fairly strong contractions so at 10:30 I asked for an Epi which I got at 10:45. They check me right after at 11 and I was only 4 cm so I thought it might be a long day. Well the nurse then checked me again 11:20 and in 20 minutes I went to 7 cm. She checked again at 11:50 and I was 9 cm. I was ready to push by 12:15. The Dr came in at 12:25 and three contractions later my daughter was born at 12:32 pm. The second time around recovery has been easy. Much less pain then last time. We were on Team Green and it was the best thing in the world to hear it's a girl in the delivery room.
