baby boy bedding
i don't like ANYTHING. and we aren't painting the room because I want to at least decide the bedding colors first.
I don't need to get a matching set - I would get separates.
anyone find bedding they love that's not cars, planes or animals and want to share??

Re: baby boy bedding
i had the SAME problem! I knew i wanted to do a lime green for his room and could NOT find bedding to go with it. Everything was so cliche and I didn't want to order anything online without being able to feel and touch the fabric. I did decide with bedding from babies r us which did have some animals on it, but not so obtrusive like other ones I had seen. Good luck...it took me months to decide what to do.

Re: baby boy bedding
I had the exact same problem. I don't like animals or sports or cars or anything. I finally found a set that I liked at Pottery barn but then they discontinued it like the next day before I could order it. We finally decided on the Nautica Zachary set. I can't get the pic to post, so here's the link:
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10954814[/L] I wanted something with navy and green and I can't believe how impossible that was to find. Maybe try pottery barn or restoration hardware.

Re: baby boy bedding
If we have a boy we're doing a Detroit Tigers Theme. Deep Gray walls, Navy Curtains, Pictures of Commerica Park, blue bumper, orange handmade blanket, and so on. We'll also order a shirt from mlb.com shop and have his last name on the shirt and frame it for the room.
I found it less overwhelming to pick a theme we wanted and go from there. There are so many seperates you can do whatever you want.

Re: baby boy bedding
I don't like themes either. I want a really BABY baby room, because being that they are both boys, I will only have control for so long and I know as soon as they turn 2 or 3, its going to be all sports trucks and trains for years to come Actually I want the big boy room to be set up as an MMA ring, but that's another story
These are my choices so far....#1

Re: baby boy bedding
My favorite is Glenna Jean Preston:
If we were having a boy, this is the one I would have registered for, because I hate all boy's bedding too. I was even debating keeping it on for our girl because I think it really could go either way...DH didn't care for it for a boy, he thought it was too feminine, but I think it's cute. It's pretty expensive though.
