shoe repair
Im not sure im on the right board but can anyone reccomend a shoe repair place? I have a pair of heeled boots that need to be cleaned and repaired and cant find a place. Preferably near Hicksville/plainview area

There's a place in Levittown that's fantastic -
I think it's called Michael's, it's in the corner of the shopping center next to the Levittown post office on Gardiners Avenue (like 2 blocks south of Hempstead Turnpike).

There is place right off the corner of South Oyster Bay Rd and Woodbury Rd. up the block from Bed bath and Beyond. Thy do pretty good work. Its a small place but the guys is good
