RE?
hi guys, i have a few questions.
do u need a dr.'s referral to make an appointment with an RE?
and does anyone know any good / proactive RE's in queens (forest hills area) or nassau that do not have long waits for appontments.
thanx for any info!

Honestly, it depends upon your insurance. I have good coverage but I had to pre-register for infertility. I would call the company first, get the info, write everything down and then see what practices they cover.
My insurance claimed that one RE was a Center for Excellence yeah, they were horrible. Now I am at NSUH, a world of difference. NS will take the 80% that my insurance pays for out of network doctors.
It's really important to know about the benefits because the costs add up very quickly.

Dr. Spandorfer, from Cornell, actually has a satellite office in queens (Flushing).
