Hi Ladies...joining you on this board
I wasn't going to post anything about this. I don't post often especially since having my DS last year, but I think it would definitely help to have some support.
So we had DS after over 4 years of trying and multiple IVFs. When we decided to go for #2 I got pg on my own! After only 2 months of trying!! It was truly a miracle for us. Unfortunately at our 11 week NT scan we learned there was no longer a heartbeat. The baby was measuring only 8 weeks.
I had a D&C 4 days later, that was almost 3 weeks ago. I am doing OK but some days I get very sad. I miss my baby and I just hope we can get pg again on our own. I am really under pressure for time since I will be 40 this year. I just can't believe that after so many failed IF treatments I got pg just like that...and then it was gone. Just not fair.

so sorry for your loss...i can relate with the age thing. I am going to be 39 soon, but on the bright side i know plenty of people with healthy children that had their kids between 40-45. I always think of these people, it just makes me feel better. I hope you get pregnant again soon.

Karen, I am so sorry!
That is amazing that you got pregnant without IF, I hope it will happen again for you!!! Keeping you in my prayers for another little miracle!

i'm so sorry.
Minus the IVF parts I had a similar thing happen. we got pregnant so easily the first time around. Only to mc around the 10/11 week mark. Baby was measuring 9 weeks. at the 8 week appt we had a hb... and the next appt we no longer had a hb. I had a D&C scheduled 5 days later.
It was soo hard to go through. I cried a whole lot. And then had some anxiety issues. Time did help... but A LOT of time needed to pass before any real healing started.
I am pregnant again, after trying for almost 10 months and each time someone asks if this is my first... my mind goes straight to that first pregnancy and i want to say "not it's not my first pregnancy but it's the longest I've gone"... instead I just say "yes". It's just something you never forget and will always be with you.
I'm sooo sorry for your experiences. But just remember that it did happen once on it's own... and it can happen again on it's own. Try not to think so much about the pressure.... I really thing that makes the actual getting pregnant part even harder. I know it's easier said than done. Good Luck!! And I hope it happens for you soon!!! Prayers for you!

Thank you all for your support. We are trying to stay positive. It was just such a shocker that I got pg on my own...it does give me hope!
