Destination Science camp?
Anyone ever send their DC to this? My 6 y/o is interested but I can't find much feedback. I've checked their website and it looks like he'll enjoy it but I don't know how well run it is, how safe, etc. Anyone know anything about it?

I'm sending the boys for a couple of sessions this summer. God.. it's SO expensive! But.. so is every other place. *sigh*

I know! But my DS expressed an interest in science camp and it looks fun for him. At least he'll be learning something too. I was debating one or two weeks as it is so expensive.

I don't know the prices of the destination camps, but the Vanderbilt Planetarium and CSH DNA labs have summer day camp.

I'm doing 2 weeks because I'm having a super hard time narrowing down which camp to send them to. I figure it also includes all the materials for the experiments and at least one qualified teacher - so I will just eat it. I really REALLY hope it's fun!
Combine that with the other camp for the rest of the summer and I'm at 8000!!!!

 THAT is a lot of money! We've narrowed it down to two camps as well.
And my DS is too young for CSH and we live too far from Vanderbilt unfortunately.

We are thinking about sending DS to the Amazing Space Race week. I think thye are about average in price - they are all
