centerpieces for a luau party
DD is going to be 1 next month 
we are having a luau in the backyard, im trying to think of some ideas for centerpieces. I can come up with anything I LOVE
Can anyone help?

The dollar tree in selden had a bunch of luau stuff. They had a bunch of centerpieces also that were adorable

saw a ton of stuff at Party City
What about shovel and pails in the center of the table with rocks to hold it down and then tie balloons to the pail. Blue, orange, white, green?
Maybe put the grass skirts around the tables?

I'm planning to do a backyard luau for DD's 4th birthday.
I was going to do these from Oriental Trading:

I got grass skirts from Big Lots for the tables  that was one thing i needed to have

those are sooo cute!!!
I made her invites, they look like grass skirts with flowers around them, u lift up the "grass" and the invite is underneath.
I got grass skirts to go around the tables.
I got a bar kit from Party City to decorate the bar to make it look like a tiki bar.
I also plan on making some kind of decorations for inside the tent we rented

what about clear bowel with orchids or some other tropical flower floating in it.
Stop and Shop has an excellent floral dept that you can order from and they are really inexpensive. I have ordered flowers from them many times and was always extremely happy.

id lay banana leaves on the table, over them id put real sand, fisherman netting, glasses with water and floating votives..with shells and starfish at the bottom..and you could try and do orchids but they get expensive..
everything else i mentioned (except banana leaves, go to florist for those) can be found at michaels
