WW question
We are doing WW online (me, DH and MIL). MIL followed the plan this past week but gained a lil. She wants to know if she should start limiting the amount of carbs per day. Any insight?

Re: WW question
Even if she followed the plan perfectly sometimes you just have a week where you gain. Her body might just need time to adjust.
I dont think limiting carbs could hurt though..

Thats what I told her. I also think she tends to undereat during the day. She will come home from work and tell me she had a yogurt for lunch and thats it.

Re: WW question
Sometimes you just gain. It's part of the process.
HOWEVER, She may be undereating during the day and that's a big problem. I find that if I undereat during the day I really don't lose weight. I think for one, my metabolism slows down and for two, I'm so hungry later in the day, so I'm making worse choices or eating more at a later hour, which is murder on a diet.
I also find I do lose more weight when I limit carbs.
Another piece of advice I would give is to increase fruit intake. Fruit is free. It doesn't mean you should pack in all that sugar forever and ever, but I find keeping a bowl of grapes near my desk to munch on all day keeps me away from higher calorie snacks, and it keeps my metabolism going
