Another WW newbie - help!
Hi all, I finally got my butt in gear and joined WW. After being overweight for most of my life and having two babies, it's long overdue.
I've done WW before but not in years and I see a lot has changed. I joined online because I have no time for meetings, but it's tough to be online all day tracking. I'm assuming once I learn the PP value of what I eat it will be easire, but do you have any suggestions on tracking. Also, is there something I can buy that has all the food values in it that I can have on the go? Again, tough for me to get online all day to learn the points so I'm stressing out a bit.
Also, I get A LOT of points...I'm actually worried about fitting them all in. Do you have any suggestions for higher point value foods (that are not junk obviously).
Thanks for listening...feeling very overwhelmed.

katie...i'm a lifetime member. u could do it. just take it one day at a time. if you like yogurt, try greek yogurt. that will use up some points. have a lot of protein. wait till there's free registration. u could go and sign up and get the materials. that's the only way to get a book for u to have on the go.

YOU CAN DO IT!
It def gets easier as you learn the PP value of foods.
Do you have a smartphone? I have the WW app for my iPhone and I can track on the go.
it's also just helpful to plan your meals in advance.

Re: Another WW newbie - help!
I do it online also. I had DH download the WW app on his phone (I don't have a smartphone) but he usually isn't with me when I grocery shop so I went to Weight Watchers and bought their points calculator. You can still buy it even if you do it online.
In the beginning I would figure out the night before what I was going to eat during the day. I would then figure out the points and decide if I could have more or less. I usually try to leave 12-15 points for dinner because my MIL makes dinner and I'm never sure what she's making.
Now I'm 4 months in and I pretty much know how many points the things I eat are. I have a bunch of different snacks. I usually have greek yogurt for breakfast (3pts) with a banana. My lunch is usually 2 slices WW bread, 2oz Boar's Head Turkey or Everroast chicken, and 1 slice red fat American (4pts total). So that's 7 points for breakfast and lunch and then I work in about 7 points of snacks throughout the day.
I try to have fruit on hand so that if I'm hungry I can grab some instead of snacks with points.
