So after 4 days my brand new Kindle is broken...

The whole screen just has these lines on them...can't see anything. I went on trouble shooting but nothing they suggested worked.

DH got it from Target and I have the receipt but I threw away the box...do you think they'll give me a hard time exchanging it?

So annoying...

I would definitely try to take it back ASAP and insist on exchanging it. They really shouldn't give you a hard time and if you make a big enough stink about it (which I would!), they should want to accomodate you. Good luck!

Its only been a few days, I don't think Target should give you a hard time.

If they do call Amazon.

I got mine through Amazon but customer service has been great. My first one had to be replaced early on. Then I had the second one for almost 2 years. To be fair, the issue I had with the second one was probably my fault but they still replaced it even though it was just outside the warranty time.

I did end up calling Amazon and I had a new one the next day.

Have to say I was very impressed with the customer service!
