I got very bulkly when I increased the weights-

I just swicthed back to high reps/low weight

I though cardio was important to not bulk up- burn the fat so it doesn't cover the muscles??? I am confused now



You got bulky because you had too much fat over the muscle!

if you would have stuck it out longer and changed your diet a bit, then you would now have small TIGHT legs and butt!!!

I really don't have any cellulite- my legs have always been ok ( my Mom never had any either- genetics I guess)

- but I do lunges and swats- and when I started I noticed a HUGE improvement in the saddle bag area- and my butt got lifted




i don't have any yet, but i worry. i used to be a ballet dancer--thighs like rocks. Now, not as much even though I do yoga, pilates, and cardio.

it wasn't my legs- it was my arms, shoulders and back- my jean jacket was so tight and now it's better

my Butt and legs improved alot- the shape changed and everything

HIIT
1. warm up for 5 minutes on treadmill
2. run AS FAST AS YOU CAN for 30 seconds
3. Walk fast or slow jog for 60 seconds
4. Repeat 8 times total.
5. cooldown for 5 minutes- slow jog or walk

the purpose is to run so fast that you can not possibly run for more than the 30 seconds. if you can do more cardio after this, then you aren't running fast enough!
Never do it on a leg training day.

2 per week and one Steady state cardio sessions are enough for the week (or two, but one is enough if your diet is on!).

I will keep you posted on my progress- cardio 3 times a week - not bad!

two more questions:

1. (sounds stupid) but what do you mean by the proper diet?

2. (also sounds stupid) what is a good weightlifting schedule (IE arms and back day 1 etc...)

I am pretty tried- but I feel like I could have run faster- I ran my jog at 5.0 and my run at 8.5
