Went to buy the nook yesterday and couldn't make up my mind..please help
let me start by saying I have an ipad, love it BUT wanted something light and not so expensive to throw in my pocket book for on the go...
the Reg Nook - love love the e-ink, that seems so cool to me and lite on the eyes, since I am on a computer 8 hours a day.
Kindle - love the feel and lightness of it -wonderful - can't borrow library books (not yet)
Nook Color - double the weight , so much to do on it though, good for my daughter on the go,
LCD screen(like e-ink better)
I have no idea which to get?? HELP ~
I really want the kindle cause of the feel and liteness of it BUT I really think I would regret not getting the nook color, just because there is so much to do on it for me and daughter

i just got a kindle for mother's day and love it. my dh was choosing between that and the nook and he thought the kindle was better.

I like my nookcolor...It feels like I'm holding a regular book, and I love the touch screen.

I've had a kindle for 3 years and love it. I love that it isn't backlit so that my eyes don't feel like they are looking at a computer screen all the time. I use it for reading only. If I want Apps and to check my email then I use my phone.

I really prefer the Kindle to the Nook.
I didn't want a backlit screen, I just wanted an e-ink dedicated reader. Taking that into account, to me the Kindle is easier to navigate, the screen is crisper, its a bit lighter, and I don't like the touch screen on the regular Nook.
Now with Kindle soon to support Library books, I am even happier with my choice.

Thank you for all the repsonses. I will probably go with the nook color. If it were strictly from me, i would get the kindle but because my daughter is always first (ha ha) and we are always on the go, in the car, I think she would benefit from this too.
still undecided but will choose soon
ps - B & N is coming out with a new nook on Tuesday - no idea what kind - the best buy guy told me..
