The Apprentice finale
Did I miss something? Didn't Trump at the end say he is was going to something a little different? What was so different about the end?

He never said "You're Fired", instead he just hired John Rich.

He has always told someone they were fired and instead, he just told John he was hired and did not "fire" anyone.

oooooh...ok....now I get it.
Honestly I think on this task Marlee did a better job. Trump shouldn't have considered him raising that extra 275K since that wasn't part of the task.
But I did like both of them and was glad that John won.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought Marlee knocked it out of the park last night and was a little surpised it went to John Rich. He did do a specatular job this season too. The amount of money these two are able to tap into is mind boggling.

While I think the money shouldn't have been a deciding factor, I still liked John Ray's can & commerical better. Hated Marlee's commerical. Although her presentation was stronger. BUT, the Globetrotters I think were easier to work with over Def Leppard. Also, the Globetrotters ALWAYS do charity events so them wearing the 7-UP shorts was nothing too out of the ordinary. Def Leppard not so much.

I was at the finale yesterday and the after party. John Rich was so nice. Marlee looked overwhelmed. Busey and Nene were not very nice. I got to take pictures with everyone though.

I agree with you --his can & commercial were better, that combined with what he did all season , to me makes him the winner--regardless of his extra donations.
He really was the dominant person on his team. Marlee wasn't, she was just consistent, helpful, & not crazy, but she didn't stand out the way he did.

I agree. Like John said, his body of work was superior to Marlee's body of work during the season.
His can was much better, and his commercial was much better. Marlee's presentation was much better. I think they were probably pretty even, as far as the final challenge, but judging it on the entire season, John was the clear winner.

I though Marlee's commercial was super cheesy and I absolutely loved John Rich's commercial.
I think Mark McGrath said it best: Marlee had a great night, John had a great season.
