NPR: Renting a hall, need help!
My friend wants to have a bridal shower but is on a tight budget. She cant have it at her house cause she lives in a 2 bdr. apt w/her parents, so thats out.
I was thinking Knights of colombus, I remember (I think) that my cousin had her b-day there. I tried navigating their website, ugh, IM LOST!!
She needs to do it in Queens. How do I get in touch w/ this group? Anyone have any idea of the $$? It would be 4 hrs. OR does anyone have any other rec's on CHEAP places to have it.
Im thinking renting a place and then catering food would be cheaper than the traditional sit-down or buffet at a restaurant. There was a restaurant willing to do it for $30pp and it was too much still. So anyone know of a restaurant <$30PP?
Thank you so much. This girl is really sweet and I would like to help her find a place to do it, or she wont do it at all.

Try the Sly Fox Inn in Flushing, NY on Union Turnpike. They can accomodate up to 80 people in their main dining room and they have packages starting from $14.95 pp for Brunch. I had DS Baptism dinner there and we paid $23.00 pp including soda and coffee/tea. It was a buffet and the food was really good. http://www.slyfoxinn.net/
