Kindergarten-extra cirricular activities
When the kids enter Kindergarten is this when you start getting notified of various programs? I dont know whether to have plans for DD now or wait til sept when she is bombarded with things to do.

Daisy Girl Scouts we got info on at the K screening as well as when school started.
Local sports like PAL we got flyers home when school started.
I don't remember getting info on local dance schools or anything, that all seems to be word of mouth.

My son gets flyers in his folder for all the PAL's and Merrick Bellmore sports programs. We also got about Cub Scouts for next year.

We get notified throughout the year for school activities as they pop up. For a kindergartener, I would think you'd start getting bombarded on Meet the Teacher night.
For non-school acitivites, I know soccer registration is in May for a September start in my town, gymnastics & dance have registration now but you can sign up whenever you decide.
