Could you post a recipe for the best cupcake you ever had? or the best cupcakes you ever bought (preferably on Long Island)?
I want to make/buy a bunch of cupcakes for my DD's birthday party.

Sprinkles cupcakes are delicious! They just opened in the city.
Also billy's uptake in the city are great too.

There are 2 cupcake places in Huntington but I forgot the name of them.
I think 1 is Crumbs?

crumbs cupcakes are to die for!!! My favorite is vanilla cake with lemon iceing, but the one in woodbury never seems to have that! :(

Did not care for Crumbs or any of those type of places but had a Magnolia's cupcake and it was delish!
Other than that I love Duncan Hines Funfetti best

I'm not a big Crumbs fan. I mean, put any cupcake in front of me and I'll eat it and like it, but I find them to be kinda stale. Magnolia cupcakes are REALLY good.

Is that the one in the alley from Wall St to the parking lot? I liked them. But I always find that bakeries put way too much frosting on....but I guess that's a personal preference
My favorite recipe to make (easy and doesn't taste like a box):
1 white cake mix
2 eggs
1 C sour cream
1/2 C milk
1/3 C vegetable oil
