Tomorrow...
I have my 10 day bloodwork/sono tomorrow and I'm hoping I have more then 1 mature follie (last cycle); if not then I have to move on to injectables.
Can anyone give me some insight on Injectables, what is involved, cost (i have GHI) etc. Thanks I appreciat it.

Re: Tomorrow...
i JUST started injectables last night. i was freaking out about it b/c i'm so nervous about needles but it was honestly a piece of cake. it didn't hurt at all and the needle is tiny. i'm not sure about GHI, i have Cigna and had to pay out of pocket for the injectables (praying that eventually Cigna will reimburse us) and the cost for the follistim and the ovidrel was appox $700 through Kraupners.

Re: Tomorrow...
I have GHI too. The covered everything for us. Only had to pay copays. I had to use a specific pharmacy though. If they deny it at first call and complain they should override it.

We have GHI NYC benefits, I'm wondering if they will cover it...The do not cover ovidrel for whatever reason but everything else has been ok. We'll see! Thanks

Re: Tomorrow...
I have GHI, I'm a NYC guidance counselor, and they covered all my meds for my IVFs and my IUI. Most recent was follistim and hcg for my IUI, and it was covered, just a $155 copay. The meds came from freedom, except for my first dose which was from Kraupners.
Good luck!!!!

Unfortunately we have Union Prescription Benefits through CVS caremark which basically makes me go thru hoops to get anything covered. I'll fight with them. TU!!!
