Need help with schools....

beesmom8 LIF Zygote Member since 4/11 6 total posts Name:	Need help with schools.... Hello, I am new to the LI Families forum but I needed to post a topic because I need some advice. We are looking at schools for my son. He has been approved to get OT, PT and Speech Therapy. I was wondering if anyone has kids in or know anything about Leeway School in Sayville or AHRC in Bohemia? These are two schools very close to us and any information would be great. Also, has anyone had any problems with their CPSE meeting with the Connetquot School District? I have heard that they are very tough will not give in to you. Espcially if you go against their decision. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

My son is 23 now but we moved into Connetquot when he was in 4th grade because of their reputation of being very special ed friendly. Of course this was several years ago now but I had great experiences especially on the elementary level. My son had OT & PT. I encourage you to join SEPTA and be very involved, class mom, volunteer, anything you can do to let the school know you are commited to your child's success.
