Dance Class Costs, Costume & Tickets?

Just curious what other people pay for the costume, recital tickets, and monthly tuition

$41 per month/$65 total costume+shoes/ $15 per ticket

My MIL has her own dance school.
Tuition $30 monthly (jazz tap ballet) she teaches different dance types in one class so she doesnt charge one fee for ballet one for jazz etc. Even her 3 yr olds do 3 dances. She only charges extra for a hip hop class

I believe her tickets for show are about 20-25 (i do not recall)

Costumes vary. Costume companies charge a lot for their costumes. Some she will get on clearance or some she will have kids wear leggins and tshirt (depending on the type of dance/theme) okder kds will sometumes reuse an old costume. she tries to keep costs low if she can.

DD is in 1st grade- takes a triplet class (Ballet, Tap, Jazz). $91 per month for 1.5 hour class.

Recital costume $80 (with base leotard and 3 interchangeable bottoms- tuto, fringe skirt and jazz shorts)

Recital Tix: $16 each

My 2 1/2 year old DD does ballet. We pay $45 a month for tuition, her recital outfit cost $85 plus $12 for the tights, and recital tickets are $25 each.
This was her first year, so when we registered, I had a coupon for her a free recital outfit,so I only had to pay for the tights. Next year, no coupons! Dance is expensive, it all adds up! Pictures cost me $85, the recital video was $40. Only buying the video because you cannot record the recital yourself, it is copyrighted!

DD is 3 and she took ballet from Sept. - today. It was $117 quarterly. The recital outfit was $49, plus tights $5. And thenthe recital tickets were $14 each - but they did give 1 free. Plus the initial outfit, tights & shoes - which were about 40 total.

42 per month and then $180 for the recital/costume fee no additional charge for tickets.

$40 per month, $85 costume, tickets range from $15-$30. DD is almost 5. 45 min ballet, 15 min tap

DD is 4- her class is $60 per month, either $75 or $85 for the rectial costume and $18 per ticket for the recital.

That doesn't include the leotard, tights, ballet and tap shoes!

Recital tix were $25 EACH. I'm a stage mom so I don't need a ticket. Which also means I can't watch the show.

I *think* monthly tuition is $42.

Costume was about $80, that included tights.

Tickets were $20 if bought ahead of time and $25 at the door.

oh...she takes an hour class. 1/2 hr tap 1/2 hr ballet. They only perform tap in recital at this age though.

$98 per month for 2 hours of dance classes. $60- $75 per costume and ticketed were $22 each.

On the bright side my DD's dance classes are cheaper than my other DD's gymnastics which we pay $78 per month for 50 min, and end of year show is free for them to enter but costs $12 per ticket for spectators. No official leotard of anything provided, so that's another $35 for that.
