Disney
I've been to Disney a number of times but first time goingwuth kids....ages 4 and 9 months. We are getting a letter from my daughter's school psychologist so we can get a pass. She gets overwhelmed, has a hard time waiting, crowds. She is the 4 year old. I want to start getting a checklist together of stuff we will need. Any input?

My iPod Touch is a life saver in waiting situations-for both my kids! Even though you're getting the pass, you're bound to be waiting at some point.

Re: Disney
For the plane: DVD (but we now have an itouch and I downloaded his favorite cartoon shows on it!). I brought snaks in ziplock bags. Juices boxes.
I bought some new toys RIGHT BEFORE the trip. So it was new and exciting.
We got a folding garage. Maybe they make a folding castle for princesses.
What does she like to play with?
I got a Crayola "flat" color wonder case.
For the hotel, I brought his "small" fav. toys.
I brought his favorite blanket, his child pillow and lovey with us. So it would not too different from home for the bedtime routine.
We ordered his fav. food from gardengrocer.com We ordered a bunch of water bundles, snacks, milk, etc... It was so much easier.
Where are you staying?

Re: Disney
We went this year and best advice I got for flight was to buy a small travel bag (they have them at REI) and fill with toys DC had never seen before. Didn't cost much - picked up stuff at Target, Walmart and Michael's and that way I always had something new to pull out and kept her interested the whole trip. Brought coloring book, stickers, etc. but she was in a car seat and I didn't realize the tray wouldn't go down. If you are using a car seat, you need to have something to lay flat for coloring and things like that. You can find tiny tray or something like that at Toys R Us.
