37 1/2 weeks check up
dr told me today that i am 1cm dilated and starting to eface and that baby boy is engaged in pelvis and on his way, of course it could take up to another week for anything to happen!!! I may have to go and run around the mall for a while to help get things moving

yes according to the lunar calendar....
I asked my doc if she notices more activity with full moons, she said no... more so with low barametric (sp?) pressure, like Monday and Tuesday all the muggy weather... causes womens water to break and contractions then follow.
I don't know - I am still considering howling out on the lawn next week - anyone care to join me???

I'm thinking I will be right there with you ladies. I'm 38 weeks today and as of my last appointment I am absolutely no where as far as effacement, dilation or baby's station. I'm practically living on my exercise ball. It's amazing how much household things can get done while bouncing around on a ball
To the OP - great news!!! Sounds like you will be meeting your LO soon
