I didn't obsess this week..weigh in tomorrow.

On a previous post I mentioned I had difficulty with maintaining my weight. I obsess sometimes over what I keep, how often I work out and what I weigh.

This week I did not obsess. I gave into temptation and things I normally dont (went out to lunch yesterday with DH and had wings!). I also couldn't work out this week due to my knee acting up.

It was hard but nice at the same time. It felt good to not track everything. I didn't eat awful, but not the best either.

I'm weighing in tomorrow so we'll see the damage done.

Good for you. I think its good to overindulge every once in awhile. I bet you stayed the same!

While I don't regret indulging, its not something I can do every week. This is probably my biggest single week gain ever: I went up 3.2 lbs.

Laura, I'm not sure I could imagine how many wings I would've eaten and how much I'd be up if I wasn't on WW!

The thing is, I really didn't think I had done that bad. I overindulged in a couple of meals, but my breakfast every day was the same as always, as was many of my other meals.

Another factor could be that I didn't excercise at all (where I usually workout 5-6 times a week!)

Lesson learned- stick to WW! Chat Icon I'm back to tracking and excercising (as long as my knee holds up)

Colleen, its just water weight. Don't sweat it. Part of maintaining is about staying with in 2 or 3 lbs of your weight anyway, right? Maybe try to scale it back a bit and have a midweek cheat and a weekend cheat day? That way its not so much of the "out of control" business but at least your calories will be up?

I think thats what I'm going to do. At least for now, only 1 cheat meal. I def. overdid it this week and I know that. So its comforting knowing its water weight. But its also a great lesson that if I were to continue in that direction it could be bad.

I guess its all a learning process.

You have to live. Taking a break from counting every calorie & watching every bite once is a while is a smart thing to do Chat Icon

the wings sauce may have been too much sodium.

im prob going to gain some of the weight i lost last week. it was just too much of a weight loss for just 1 week. so some your up some your down. youll loose i quickly
