Pictures
So before the MC I started taking belly pics (I know, I was waay to early to show but was so excited). I also took pics of my BFPs. For ladies who also took pictures, did you delete them after your MC or do you still hold on to them. Im still debating this. I want to keep them because I dont want to forget but at the same time it hurts to look at them.

Re: Pictures
I didn't take pics, but I kept the pregnancy tests for a while. I eventually threw them away.

Re: Pictures
I have all the pics from my son.. bfps.. belly pics.. sonos.. I have the bfp pics from my chemical...... and I have the bfp and sono pics from the triplets (I was so early on and didn't bother to take belly pics yet)
So basically.. whatever photo or sono I had from any of my pregnancies, I still have.

Part of me wants to do the same. Like, I dont want any reminders of this pregnancy except for the memories that I will keep in my heart BUT part of me feels like if I throw anything out is like Im throwing away my emotions...I hope that makes sense.

Didn't you say you bought a piece of jewelry to commemorate the pregnancy? It seems to me like if you have something like that but no pics to look at as memories, you might feel bad.. but that's just my opinion because I wouldn't want you to throw anything out and then regret it later.
Maybe putting it in a box and storing it somewhere is a good idea. Nobody says if you keep the pictures you actually have to look at them everyday!

Yes, I did buy a piece of jewerly but I feel the necklace is remembering the loss while looking at the pics of BFP's and belly pics were suppose to be happy memories and now they're not. I think I will just put the pics in a box and store them away. I think the problem is that I have them in my draw (along with the pee sticks) so everytime I open the draw to get something I see them and it gets me sad.

Re: Pictures
I hadn't started taking belly pictures but I do have the pregnancy test(s), the first scan, the first page in my pregnancy journal - thats as far as I had written and a cute picture that I had drawn for DH when I found out that we were expecting our third.
I plan on getting a pretty keepsake box and when I feel stronger I will write a letter to the baby and I will keep all of these things. This was to be my third child, its important that I give this baby the memories that it deserves of me and I need to keep these memories.
I think its too soon for you to get rid of anything

Re: Pictures
I deleted mine this weekend, I couldn't stand going through my phone looking at the positive 15 tests I took. I'm trying to move foward and having those pictures would only keep reminding me of my failure.

Re: Pictures
I deleted the pictures and threw out the tests.
I never got far along enough to get a sono so I don't know what I would have done with that if I had.
If you are not 100% sure what you want to do yet, maybe just put everything away and out of sight, and revisit the issue in a few weeks. It would be terrible to throw everything away and then regret it next month.

Re: Pictures
I have kept pictures from my camera and phone of bfp, belly pics, embryo pictures from IVF, sono pictures, etc.
I hid the sono pics once and couldnt' find them for months. That was the purpose but now I keep everything together for a time when my wounds and tears won't be so raw.

Re: Pictures
I have the sono pics and the belly pics. I also have one picture of him after giving birth, but it is blurry and done with a Polaroid that the hospital took for me. I also have his footprints in a keepsake that the hospital did for me.

Re: Pictures
The only thing I have is a pic of my BFP. I don't look at it any more but for some reason I can't delete it. Maybe when (if) it happens again, I will be able to.
