Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
So at night i can not wait to get home and rip off my bra... but is that a bad thing? should i be leaving a bra on when i sleep?
Also i tried the whole sports bra thing, and i was actually uncomfortable... my boobs were fine, but my sholderblades/back was killing me! Am i dumb and not buying the right sports bra?

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
same thing happened to me....for some reason wearing a sports bra hurt my back and neck Sometimes I leave my bra on at night to try and prevent any more strecth marks but like you said sometimes you just cant wait to get it off

try the medela sleep bras. They're not super tight fitting like a sports bra and actually very comfortable.

I am one who ALWAYS sleeps with a bra but lately it comes off as soon as I walk in the door from work. I cant stand wearing it!

same although they're annoying now, they roll up over my belly in the middle of the night and I keep waking up topless.

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
Since I got boobs I have been a non-bra wearer at night. I HATE that feeling while I'm sleeping. I never ever wear a bra at night. The only time I did is the first few months when I was BFing my son, and I would leak like crazy at night, so I wore a comfy nursing sleep bra so I could put pads in it. There is no reason to wear a bra at night! Set those girls free!!

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
in the first trimester my boobs were so sore i always wore a sports bra to bed. Now they aren't as sore so i usually go braless.

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
I haven't worn a bra to bed, I'm usually topless cause I'm more comfortable that way. I too was wondering if I should be wearing something. Guess there is no hard and fast rule on this.

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
I've never worn a bra to bed...as soon as I get home the bra and shoes come off and my hair gets thrown in a bun. I'd rather have saggy boobs then be any more uncomfortable right now.

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
I just wear a tight tank top at night. the tighter the better because it doesn't bunch up as a toss and turn from side to side.
haha.. last night I wore my "bride" tank top... it came to about 4 inches ABOVE my belly button!! I looked like a REALLY pregnant bride!! YAY white trash!!

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
I have always been the type for the bra to be the first thing I take off when I get home. but since being pregnant they hurt so much that a sports bra is needed and helps at night - when they are free they seem to hurt more.

Me too. I got a really good one from the Kohl's maternity line...I bought a size bigger than my clothing and it fits nice, the bra gives just enough support and I feel really comfortable in it.

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
I wear a sports bra every night but I'm big chested and it helps me sleep better. It's not super tight though. Maybe you need one in a bigger size. The one I use I could never use to work out in since it doesnt give much support.

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
i've never been one to wear a bra to bed EVER either...however since having my DD i have worn a bra to bed every single night. if you're not used to it now you will most likely need to either get used to it or learn to tolerate it, b/c after these babies are born the boobies hurt LOL especially if you're BFing, plus you will leak like a son of a gun and need to wear the nursing pads or you will be sleeping in a puddle.
i bought these very soft nursing sports bra like bras from destination maternity but after that i just wore a bigger size regular bra and i was more comfortable, being big chested the sports bras didn't give me enough support.
good luck!!

Re: Spinoff to Boobs: what to wear at night
The only time I take off my bra is to shower. I like the support and feel like it's much better for the girls to keep them in a bra as much as possible.
