Having a very hard time this week
My due date would have been this coming Saturday, June 18th. As it approaches, I have been feeling more and more stressed out and emotional. So many people I know IRL who are pregnant are having their babies. DH doesn't really understand, although he is trying to. He is a pretty positive person and doesn't really focus on "what ifs" like I do. I really thought I would have been pregnent again before my due date. And to top it all off, my birthday is this week and I feel like I can't really enjoy it.
Thanks for letting me vent

That was my EDD too.... i had another rough weekend... but i expected to not be in very good spirits this week...

I am so sorry. I guess the only thing you can do is to allow yourself the time to be sad and don't beat yourself up over it. Its a tough time for you and its the first year, hopefully this time next year the pain will be less raw.
I hope you can find some way to enjoy your birthday, maybe plan something low key with your DH and you will enjoy that.

I am feeling bad too. My due date is in a few weeks and I'm not pregnant again either. I thought for sure that I'd be pregnant again by now but no such luck. It's the worst and I'm worrying if I'll ever get pregnant again too I wish I had something to say to make you feel better but I don't I hope you feel better, you deserve to enjoy your birthday, have a drink and try to enjoy.

To the both of you. Wow, I cant even imagine the sadness you both must be feeling. I know when my EDD approaches I will feel the same. I do not look forward to this at all. I am so very sorry

I was worried about when my EDD would come. I thought FOR SURE I would be pregnant again by that time.
When i wasn't it was really depressing for me.
BUT the upside for me was that right after my due date passed, I actually started to feel better about things. Some of the pain and depression had lifted after the DD passed.
Maybe after the DD time has come and gone, things will start to feel a little better for you guys as well.
I think i was putting pressure on myself for being a "failure" and also for not being pregnant again by that momentous date and it was wearing on me. Once the date passed I didn't have that pressure to be pregnant by such and such date anymore.
