I'm literally running out to michaels and getting shrinky dink right now!
Great Idea! I was going give him IOU cards (lame I know), I seriously had nothing else planned and had no time to do anything else I wanted, I don't want to give him knick knacks to clutter up his space..

teeny tiny 3m old hands and feet, I scanned and made them bigger so that it would look right on a keychain.

I just made mine! Thanks sooo much for posting this! DS now went to sleep with a little blue paint on his feet but oh well hahaha

Maybe I will make it and when my hubby is having a bad day at work it will be his pick me up.... the coming weeks are going to be rough!

Jenise... did you stamp DS' foot right on the shrinky dink with a special paint that will bake permanent? Or did you trace and color like the website said? And did you print your poem directly onto the shrinky dink as well? That's a great poem to use too!

In the directions of the shrinky dink paper that I got it came with several different types of paper and colors and it said that the fluff and rough paper that it has works well with acrylic paint and can also be printed with a copy machine. So I painted DS's foot and stamped it directly on the shrinky dink paper (I wanted his real footprint not just a traced version of it) and it worked very well! A tiny bit of the paint came off when it cooked but it came out really nice! and even though the directions said copy machine and not regular printer I prayed that it wouldnt get stuck in my printer and would work bc I didnt want to handwrite it and it worked perfect! While it was cooking I saw it start to shrivel and I didn't think all the words would end up coming out nice but it came out perfect!

Yes, thank you for bumping this! I cant wait to run out and find shrinky dink tomorrow-its the only day I have left to do something inconspicuous for DH for Fathers Day!

I just did this with both boys but silly me got white shrinky dink paper & when I cut their footprints, didn't get all the white away. It will have to due but I figure when I have someone to help, I will do the clear ones
