How to use vellum in scraprooking?>

I bought vellum quotes. How can I attach them w/o glue spots? would spray adhesive work? How can i make these quotes look nice in layouts?

Most adhesives will show through although they do make some specifically for vellum that work somewhat. I will generally use a cold join like a brad in the corner, or overlap things, like have the vellum run under a photo on one side, and add other embellishments, like a button, floweres, ribbon etc. on other parts to hold the vellum down.
