we were looking for credit cards and it was down to two-capital one and chase. we decided that chase was the best one.

DH and I each have a Chase Freedom (same account). We use this for all of our monthly expenses and pay it off every month. So no interest and we get cash back. I believe it is 1% but every 3 months they have a category that gets you 5% (right now it is home improvements, but the next one is usually for vacations, travel, etc).
We get back about $150 every 3 months or so. But on their website you can use the points to buy things like gift cards, etc.

We have the Costco AMEX card.
You get different % depending on the item (3% on gas)
At the end of the year, you get a check that you can use at the register at Costco or ask them to cash it for you.

we have a Jet Blue amex and love it. only bad thing is that there are some places that don't accept amex... we have an american airlines MC for that but use the amex mostly.
We just about always fly jet blue so its perfect for us

Our main card is the Gold Amex. I love the membership rewards. I've used the points for first class tickets to Hawaii for our HM, a second trip to Hawaii (first class again), free hotel stays, gift cards, etc.
Plus, we have to pay it in full every month so it keeps us in check.

We have a Delta AMEX. Delta is the only nonstop airline from JFK to Phoenix (and also to Madrid), so it makes sense for us since that's usually where we fly.
We also get free checked bags with it.

CapitalOne Venture. We get 2 points per dollar and you can use the points on any travel site ( you can book thru expedia or somewhere like that to get the most out of your points if you want). We haven't used the points yet, but we've been able to rack up a TON since we opened the card.
