How far in advance of labor did you see mucus plug or bloody show?
I have definitely been noticing a lot of mucus last few days (sorry for the tmi) but tonight was first tinge of blood in it. I know that I noticed the mucus plug or bloody show with DD but that was pregnancy #1 and I didn't keep a journal so I do remember foolishly thinking that meant labor was happening so I hung at my Aunt's house all day in case I needed a ride to the hospital (ha) and that was so not the case. But I can't remember how much longer it took after that before things started. Thanks

a few hours after loosing my mucus plug.
well that'd be nice but I'm not holding my breath b/c I know it was more than a few hours with baby #1 I'm just not sure if it was days or weeks

A few hours for me as well. I noticed increased mucus for about a week or two, then the morning I went in to labor had a decent amount with the faintest tinge of blood, then nothing all day until evening when it fully came out and then there's no mistaking it.

Mucus plug - lost it all on Monday night
Bloody Show - Tuesday morning and then continued
Labor - Tues night - started around 10pm
DS Born: 4:21am Wednesday morning

i woke up at 5am and felt i had to pee. Turns out i had my bloody show. 6:30 my contractions started. 
ETA: i have no idea when i lost my mucus plug. Whenever i went to pee at night, i never turned the light on.

Never saw it with my first. With my second never saw the plug but did have the bloody show. Went into labor that night and had my son the following afternoon. Good luck!!!

starting losing mine on a monday, labor started thursday and gave birth Friday morning..... so about 4 days.

never noticed the mucus plug but bloody show started sunday morning and i had DD at 11:58pm that night...

with DS1: lost MP at 35 wks, then again 37w5d. Water broke the next day.
With DS2: lost MP again just shy of 35 wks, red/pink spotting with every bathroom trip.
