Restaurant for anniversary in Nassau
We seem to always try the same places all of the time, can someone recommend a nice place for dinner to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.
I would like to stick to Nassau County. Open to all options.
TIA!

Re: Resturant for anniversary in Nassau
One of my favs is Piccolo's in Mineola Click Me!
The chicken zangarella is to die for!!!!!! DH had something else the first time we went there and tried mine...he'll always get that from now on.
But just be careful that it's not Piccolo Bussala which is right down the road but on the south side of Jericho Tpke(also very good though...but more family style).

Sole in Oceanside is delicious. We go there all the time.
Also, heard good things about The Fishery in E. Rockaway. We are going to try it for our anniversary tomorrow

Jimmy Hays Island Park Darios RVC Toku Manhasset Peter Lugers Great Neck LOVE jimmy Hayes. We got here for New Years usually. Was considering going since it is close to home. Darios...I always wanted to try it...people rave about it. Toku- never heard and will look into Lugers-- thats our old standby place...OUR favorite...I bet you we wind up there its just that we go there whenever we get to go out with DD (which is rare! LOL)

Never been to Piccolo. I secretly love Piccolo Busola, but not the kind of restaurant we are looking for for anniversary, but yes sooo good!!
I will look into Piccolo's.

Re: Restaurant for anniversary in Nassau
We got married at the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville. They have a restaurant and we always go there for our anniversary. The food is yummy, you can eat outside and there is usually a wedding there so you can peek and reminisice and hear some good music!

We love Luger's too (Great Neck, haven't been since I was pg).
I have heard some great things about IL Mulino on Northern... but that it's very $$$. Friends of ours used to go there, but it sounded like a place to go for a special night.
