Ok Im definitely going to order it, they didnt have it in the stores. I just dont know if Im a medium or a large. I have a bigger chest to begin with, so when I wear a 2 piece normally the top is a large and the bottom is a medium...

is it ok to wear a bikini? or do you have to cover up the belly?

I think Id prefer one that covered up the belly like a tankini. I guess for home I can always use my bikinis in the sun, but Im a little self-conscious as it is...

i just looked around and saw that old navy had a cute bathing suit! Chat Icon

I'm about a 36 C/D when not pregnant and I got a large. It fits great, although I'm probably a definite D now. My belly is pretty big now too (I carry big), but since it's spandex, it fit when I first got it an still feels great and I'm sure that it will work with me until the end.

Destination Maternity was having some pretty good sales. Not too much selection though.

Re: HELP--- Maternity Bathing Suits

I really hated DM or any Maternity bathing suits, I felt like it made me look just bigger! Also the price $$$ Out of their minds for the short time your preg.
I found that those type of suits were very ugly, frumpy for the most part.

I did have some luck at Kohl's for a takini with a cute skirt bottom, you have to try all of them on and have patience.

I also recommend going to Marshalls or TJ Maxx, don't look for Maternity just go up some sizes and try try try.

I also bought a bigger Bikini if your brave enough. Try to embrace the bump :) and get a sarong.

off topic I know I just wanted to share that you might get tons of color quick bc of the photosensitive issue with pregnancy .I got so much color through sun block, it was nuts and broke out from the sun with an allergic reaction. Who knew??? I guess I missed that part when reading up on pregnancy.

Ok thanks. I actually found a store that would order it for me but it was before I saw your response and I ordered a medium! I hope it lasts the summer! If not I will order a large right away instead which I prob should have done anyway

Re: HELP--- Maternity Bathing Suits

I got a cute pink tankini from old navy maternity online. I suggest you get your size pre pregnancy since they run big. I love it, it's so comfy.

you might be ok...depends on how you are carrying...I feel like the large has a lot of leeway, so medium could work for you. I'm on my third pregnancy, so definitely bigger and I'm closing in on the end (8/26)...also I have big babies (10+ pounds) and carry big too - I get the "are you sure there aren't twins? and "when are you due? tomorrow?" comments ALL the time! since about 6 months Chat Icon I knew medium wouldn't work for me.

I skipped the maternity swimsuit and shopped in the womens section at kohls. I got a 2 piece. Shorts and a top that covered my entire belly..
