can anyone help?

Sorry to post this here but I wasn't really sure where I should. If anyone can help I would be grateful. Has anyone everhad an ovarian cyst and if so what are the symptoms? I have missed my last 2 periods which never happens and I have been having really bad back cramping as well as occasional pelvic pain and pressure. BTW definitely not pregnant. I have an appointment today but was wondering if this was a possibility. TIA for any help.

Re: can anyone help?

Sounds like you can have cysts. Definitely have your doctor do an internal sono....

I hope you feel betterChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Or It could also be Fibroids. I have fibroids and have experienced back pain, delayed menstruation, bad cramps and pressure.

I would get a sono.

Re: can anyone help?

I had an ovarian cyst before. I had eated chinese for lunch the first day I felt symptoms and actually thought it was food poisening! I had chills, fever, vomiting, pain/pressure. They can usually be treated with medication. Medication made mine go away. Good luck and see you doctor!Chat Icon

I don't know much but I did have one. I actually had one burst once... Right after we has "relations"Chat Icon

TMI, I know but man was that painful!!!! They did a sono and said there weren't more but that they are very common. They tend to "flare" up right before AF too.

Med's can help also. I'm sure everything is fine!!
