Re: True Blood Spoilers
In the book, Jason does turn into a panther...but the books and show are so different, who knows that they will do.

Could we not discuss any plotlines in the book that haven't showed up in the show yet? I know it wasn't a big one. I just think most of us who haven't read the books don't want to know any spoilers at all and would rather wonder and chat about things. i agree

I sure hope you didn't mean my comment. It's something that's been pretty much established in the show as well as the book... now Nicole's comment on the other hand.... DUDE- that's an extreme spoiler!

Dammit
Ok, I'm really out of this thread now. I'm just not going to read any more True Blood threads unless they say "no book spoilers" in the title.

Re: True Blood Spoilers (No Book spoilers)
Seriously- no offense but isnt it common courtesy to not include book spoilers? I feel like we go this every week. If you read the book, start a show vs. book thread.
To a pp- the first woman he was "doing" lol was a witch that he sent out as a spy. As for Portia Belfrour, I'm not sure why he didn't bite her. Maybe he doesn't trust her to not be "setting him up" since they aren't supposed to feed on humans any more.

Was that woman actually a witch or was she just a person on his security team that was infiltrating the coven? I'm only asking because I'm wondering if she was actually a witch, would he be able to feed from her?
And good call about Portia. I didn't even think about that. Where did she come from again? I missed that part when she was saying how she was affiliated to the town a couple of episodes ago.

I didn't even put two and two together that it was Portia Bellefleur. Even after someone said "Yeah, that was Sookie's lawyer." I guess I pictured her differently.

Yeah I was slightly annoyed that they cast that woman as Portia.

Ok, its kinda hard to answer some of these ques b/c you are crossing the line into the series.....To 1/2 answer it is that a Witch is still a human so any vamp can feed off a witch.

Was that bills wife in the mirror?
what mirror? with the witch?
hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....i didnt even think of that, i dont remember what seh looked like but hse looked like she was from that "time"
I was actually thinking that the Witch that Marnie morphs into is related more to Eric's Viking Past. Out in the field, he begins to speak scandavian (i think) and Sookie reminds him to speak English.

The episode last week Eric said he was around the last time witch's tried to raise the dead I forgot the name Bill used to remind him. Eric said he was there for it. Maybe he killed that witch then and she is back!
I also loved when Andy called Jason and his voice mail said "This is Officer JAson Stackhouse, sorry I cannot come to the phone, if this is an emergency call 9-1-1."

Re: True Blood Spoilers (No Book spoilers)
There are so many storylines this season so far. I have to watch each episode like twice.
Arlene's baby is adorable yet creepy with those black eyes....
I'm also sick of the Sam/Tommy storyline.

Re: True Blood Spoilers (No Book spoilers)
I could so do without Sam/Tommy, The Panthers, Tara, and all these new ppl banging Bill.
I still Sookie, Lafayette, Eric, Jessica/Hoyt, and Pam.
I also LOVE the way Arlene looks at her baby. He is soooo cute and she just looks at him like this . It's soooooo funny!

As someone who has read all the books, and watched the show religiously, just know that so much is different. 75% of the story line is completely changed, so most of what was said really wont ruin it. I do agree that we shouldnt mention important book plot lines that do run true in the show.

Re: True Blood Spoilers (No Book spoilers)
I loved last nights Episode. Eric is so HOT! YUM!
I noticed or think that the chick who Marnie is channeling is the one from last season... Remember when they showed Eric back in Nazi Germany and there was that werewolf who was a female that he kills. I think it was her. That's who it looks like.
The doll has to do with Summer, I think. I remember Summer carrying a doll that looked similar.
Also, the whole Jason thing- I don't think he will turn because of his Stackhouse blood? I could be wrong but it's a thought. I HATE HATE HATE Crystal. What a psycho, trashy beeyotch. I cringed at the scene where she's raping him and the kids were watching. That was some screwed up stuff there.
