18w4d and swollen feet
Tonight was the first time I've had swollen feet! I thought it was too early for this. Any tips?
Not to mention I'm very hormonal and started sobbing when I saw my feet. DH thought something happened. He said what's wrong? When I said look at my feet, he said whoa

Re: 18w4d and swollen feet
I am 19 weeks tomorrow and for the last 2 weeks only one foot would swell it was so weird today both are swollen and charlie horses and leg cramps have set in. I actually laughed when I saw it the first time because one was so swollen and one was normal now I am miserable.

My swelling started right around that time too. Make sure to lay down as much as possible with your feet up and drink lots of water. Sitting was the worst. Unfortunately it didn't get better as I went along but it was never painful which was good. Hang in there it is all worth it!

I agree that it was never painful for me. Comfy shoes, water, and elevate when you can.

Yes, the heat is really swelling up my feet also. I work as a mail carrier & since I have to walk so much in heat, my OB made me stop working at 17 weeks. (I am now 23) I now just try to stay in doors as much as possible. Good Luck to you!!

Me too. I didnlt have high BP until about 32 weeks, but was swollen starting at 17 or so. Swimming helps, lots of water and get your feet up as much as possible. I did end up having an emergency C at 35 wks due to preeclampsia, so keep an eye on your BP

Re: 18w4d and swollen feet
I had my first swelling a few days before 16 Weeks. I asked my ob at that apt and she basically said sucks to be you... and yes this comes with multiples. She is not concerned bc my blood pressure is so low. Some days are worse then others. Drink tons of Fluids
