Need advice on carseats!
My LO is ready to move out of his infant carrier into his regular carseat. Which carseat do you recommend and why? I have the britax advocate but I have not opened it yet. I want to make sure there isn't a better carseat first. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Re: Need advice on carseats!
we have the evenflo symphony 65. (as do two of our best friends. seems the car seat for our little group )
it's big (up to 100lbs) can be used as a booster, neutral color (all three of us got the gray) fits into any car (we have an old avalon and it clips in easily) DS is 10 months and still rear-facing. he still has some room so hoping to keep him like that for a long while. it came with plenty of cushioning for younger kids so the transition was easy. as he grew we just took pieces out. (the head rest and bottom have separate cushions)
don't know what the britax is like. it was out of our price range. this one is rated high but not too expensive so it was the perfect fit for us. good luck!

Re: Need advice on carseats!
Advocate is a fine seat, it's just very large (as in wide). Fine if you have one kid to fit in the car, not so great if you've got to play carseat puzzles.
Britax Marathon/Boulevard/Advocate are typically recommended as is the Graco MyRide and Evenflo Triumph 65, First Years True Fit.
All seats are just as safe as the one next to it, but sometimes those bells and whistles make the seat easier to install/use.
