I had my princess!!!!!!!
Our baby was breach, and because of that, we had to schedule a c-section. It was scheduled on the exact date of my 39 weeks of pregnancy. We found out about our section date the day before, so we didnt really have any time to prepare. I can't say I was really nervous about the c-section, however I did have a few freak out moments about having a baby.
On Tuesday morning, we went into NYU Hospital.. I was prepped for the surgery.. Then I was sent into the OR.. where they gave me my epi, and I was good to go. I walked into the OR at 12:45 and had my baby girl at 1:35PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. She was born 7lbs, 9oz and 19in long. She has red hair (no clue how this happened..lol) and blue eyes. My husband and I are both dark hair, dark eyes so it was a bit of a surprise.. Although my husband was born with red hair and then it changed lol. Regardless. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I seriously can't get enough of her. I would go thru 100 more c-sections for her. She is my life and I can't imagine my life without her in it!!!!!!
I don't have a picture on the computer yet. but will post one as soon as I do.
