Anybody's dog diagnosed with Epulis?
My Boxer is turning 8 in September and we found a few growths on his gums. He's not in pain and eats just fine but we're devastated bc to get rid of those tumors he would have to be put under and have them surgically removed and possibly have some teeth removed as well. This condition is very common in older dogs and especially in Boxers. I am so torn whether or not to put him through this as there is no guarantee that they will never come back. They would also have to biopsied to rule out malignancy. He was such a rambuctious dog and kicked our a$$ throughout the years but we love him so much and to even think about something so terrible happening to him makes me cry...and my almost 4 year old is so attached to him...I just don't want him to be in pain or suffer in the future, but at the same time I don't want to put him through surgery and possibly radiation...

I don't either. But there is a boxer forum I go to sometimes to get info (we recently got a boxer puppy). I would do a search here:
Boxer Forum
Good Luck
