I know people love Moroccan Oil, but I feel like it weighs down my hair too much
I tried a few of them and nothing felt right for my hair.

i love it- i use the actual oil.
i have medium thick hair that is straight
if you have thin hair, this is not a product for you- it will weigh your hair down.
i apply a DIME size to my palm, rub together, start at the ends, then work the rest up to the crown.
you can also mix it with any conditioning balm.
it gives my hair shine, smooths fly aways, smells great and i feel like it contributes to the overall health of my hair.
i can definitely notice when i use it vs days that i dont.
its very expensive though. however one $40 bottle lasts me a whole year. that is how little i use.

I love it! But its not something I recommend using every day. I use it about once or twice a week and only a very small amount, (about a little less than the size of a dime)
Some pros-
Hair is shinny, smells great, no fly aways and your hair drys so much quicker
Cons..
If you get it on your skin you can break out, if you use too much it will weigh down your hair.
