Losing weight and using cocoa butter?
If you lost 30+ lbs, did you use cocoa butter or something else on your skin to prevent sagging?

The only thing I know that will help prevent sagging is exercise. I have heard of using cocoa butter for strech marks but never to prevent sagging skin.

Okay, so as long as I'm doing free weights, abs, and cardio I should be okay?

Resistance training will help you build lean mass and that should help you maintain skin elasticity.

I never knew this. This is good to know! It will motivate me to keep up with my weight training.

It stinks that over time our skin loses elasticity no matter what. But keep up the weight training - building a layer of muscle can take away some of the sagging skin.
Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately for me I'm going to have to have plastic surgery if I want "perfect" arms. I lost over 75lbs and it looks like I have chicken wings under my arms. This is due to the fact that my skin is no longer so elastic due to the weight I was and how long I've been that weight. I've been told that I should still tone them though and that if eventually I wanted to do the surgery, it could leave me about 25lbs of stretched out skin (not just my arms but other areas) lighter.

Dry skin brushing with a natural bristle brush will help (google it). Also helps prevent stretch marks when pregnant
