Alimentum-BTDT Moms
DD was switched to Alimentum over the weekend v/c of a milk protein intolerance. She was on Similac Sensitive before this. She is 3.5 months old.
I have already seen a change in her and am so happy she is more comfortable.
DH has been saying that he is worried now that she isn't going to "outgrow" this and will have food allergies forever.
Anyone have a baby on Alimentum that went on to eat everything?

DS is a year old tomorrow and has been on Alimentum since 2 weeks old for the same problem. We haven't switched to milk yet but he has been on dairy products (yogurt and cheese) for a few months now and has had no problems. Our pediatrician has said repeatedly that most babies outgrow this...we have our fingers crossed b/c we are starting whole milk next week.

DS was on Alimentum until he was 12 months. we then switched him to gentlease to transition smoothly to milk...the whole transition took make 2 months....He i now 4 and half and love his milk. He eats it all and no problems!

DS went on Alimentum at 4 months. he is 14.5 months now and 100% on whole milk  loves his milk! he also eats cheese and full fat yogurt daily.

DD was on it till 12 months, and transitioned to whole milk with no problems! She's now 3 and has no problems tolerating any foods.

My DD was on Alimentum since she was about 3 weeks old until 1 year old. She is now 19 months old and eats anything that isn't nailed down!  No allergy problem whatsoever.

my son is 3. He was on alimentum the whole first year.
He has no allergies at all.

DS was on Alimentum from 2.5 months until a year and he now loves his milk!
He does have a severe egg allergy, though, but that has nothing to do with the Alimentum.
